About the project
The project is setting up “climate-smart villages” by using affordable and replicable adaptation and mitigation practices. Activities are defined around the following major components :

capacity building to take up adaptation and mitigation measures

adaptation activities like fruit farming, irrigation canal, water pond construction, farm technology support, improved animal sheds, pest/disease management, biogas, agroforestry, and seed banks
-
communication and knowledge management targeted to fact-based results; exposure visits and capacity building to learn different adaptation techniques and transfer into practice
-
facilitate the implementation of selected LAPA activities.
