About the project...
The project is aimed at the following objectives:
• increasing forest and greenery coverage by planting local tree species, fodder trees and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants
• enhancing water retention in natural ponds, protecting natural water sources and promoting water collection techniques for farming purposes
• supporting the local government for the setup of a Local Adaptation Plan of Action
• setting up two "Climate Smart Villages" serving as model villages.
